Jesus will make His last appearance to planet earth at the end of the Seven Year Tribulation Period when the Battle of Armageddon begins to take place.
Apostle Luke wrote the following in Acts 1:6-12...
When they [the disciples] therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them,It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet,which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
At the end of the Seven Year Tribulation Period, during the Battle of Armageddon, Jesus Christ is going to return to the exact spot on the “Mount called Olivet” from which He left planet earth at the time of His Ascension.
In Zechariah 14:4, we read...
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives [the Day of the Lord, the Day Christ returns in judgment upon all nations], which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
The good news about Jesus Christ’s final appearance on the earth is also found in Zechariah 14:9-11...
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
After Jesus Christ makes His final appearance upon the earth He will reign as King over all the earth for one thousand years. And after the Millennium He is going to create a new heaven and a new earth. Heaven will be located right here upon the earth and all of us Christians will live in eternal peace with God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the angels, and all of the host of Heaven. – Oh what a glorious day that will be! – Will you be there? – Think about it!
