And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
"Ye know that after two days is the feast of the Passover [it is now Wednesday, Nisan 13 because the Feast of Passover is on Nisan 15], and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified." [Jesus was betrayed to be crucified on Thursday, Nisan 14].
Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him. But they said, NOT ON THE FEAST DAY,lest there be an uproar among the people [the Feast of Unleavened Bread was on Nisan 15 and it was a day on which Jewish people could not work or execute prisoners.
In Mark 14:1-2, we read:
After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. But they said,NOT ON THE FEAST DAY, lest there be an uproar of the people.
THE ABOVE TWO VERSES OF SCRIPTURE ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! —WHY?— BECAUSE THEY CLEARLY PROVE THAT JESUS CHRIST COULD NOT POSSIBLY HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED ON FRIDAY IN THE PASSOVER WEEK IN WHICH HE WAS KILLED IN 32 A.D.—
WHY? — BECAUSE THE FRIDAY IN THE PASSOVER WEEK IN WHICH JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED WAS NISAN 15, THE ‘FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD’!
Nisan 15 has always been the "FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD", a Jewish "High Feast Day Sabbath" when NO WORK could be done. This has been true ever since the very first Passover event that is described in Exodus 12 occurred.
Please note in both of the above verses of Scripture that the Jewish Pharisees vehemently declared that Jesus could NOT be put to death on the 'FEAST DAY' for fear of an uprising from the people!
Now, knowing that a Friday, Nisan 15 crucifixion date for our Lord Jesus Christ is impossible, we need to determine from the Holy Scriptures on what other day of that Passover Week in 32 A.D. that Jesus Christ was actually crucified. – Why? – So that we Christians can be in memorium on the TRUE DAY AND DATE in which Jesus Christ’s death and burial actually occurred. -- NOT "GOOD FRIDAY"!
For this reason, I now refer you to the calendarposted below.
Please note on the calendar that FRIDAY, NISAN 15 is the “Feast of Unleavened Bread” and a High Day Sabbath Feast when no work can be done; it is therefore an IMPOSSIBLEDATE for Jesus Christ to have been crucified.
The true date of Jesus Christ's Crucifixion is Thursday, Nisan 14, 32 A.D. as seen on the Calendar above. The VERY SAME DATE that the Jewish people killed their Passover Lambs!
